Touchtone Phone Banking

The Bank is always open if you’re registered for our touchtone service. You can call from a touchtone phone from anywhere in New Zealand or overseas to:

  • Check account balances
  • Pay bills
  • Transfer funds between accounts
  • Get information on past transactions
  • Order statements, cheque books and deposit books, and change automatic payments.

You can call from your home or office, or even a phone box or mobile phone while you're travelling. You can also call from overseas.

For a demonstration

For a free trial, use the demonstration numbers - no actual transactions will take place. (If you have to log off, print this page so you'll have these numbers handy).

  • Dial 0800 28 28 28
  • Enter demonstration customer number 70108009 and press #
  • Enter the three specific digits of the demonstration PIN that are requested. The demonstration PIN is 13579

What you need

You need your customer number which is printed on your Cashpoint card, and a 5-digit personal identification number (PIN). You select this PIN when you first call to register for touchtone phone banking.
