Investment returns are reported pre-tax and after management fees. On 1 October 2007, the Multi-Sector Unit Trusts elected to become portfolio investment entities (PIES). Returns for these funds prior to 1 October 2007 have been recalculated on a pre-tax basis to provide a consistent base.
